Mo at The Brain Charity
News

Mo has been coming to The Brain Charity for the past 5 years, where she enjoys taking part in the English and computer classes.

During this time, her self-confidence has improved in leaps and bounds and she has made numerous friends with whom she is able to go to lots of social events. Recently, Mo lost her dear mum who was her friend as well as her strength and she found herself completely lost. With a lot of support from The Brain Charity she is now living in a flat of her own and, with help, she is able to live independently.

Mo found that she needed to do something about her weight as she was comfort eating and decided to join Slimmer’s World. Mo also attends the Gym and is now a volunteer at The Brain Charity. She also volunteers at Toxteth TV and enjoys attending cookery skills courses and mixing with others.

Mo has come a long way in the past 18 months and she has achieved her City & Guilds in English language. Her biggest achievement to date is losing 4 stone in just over 6 months, which led to her winning ‘biggest loser’ at her slimming group. She has come a very long way and we and her family are so proud of her.
